It is an innovative intelligent bin-picking device that uses a suspended walking mechanism, allowing it to move along the vertical surface of the shelf. It supports double-deep operation, can pick and store 200 bins per hour, and can operate continuously for 24 hours.

Flying Box

Function

It enables automated and precise grabbing, placement, and transfer of material bins, and, in conjunction with an intelligent control system, automatically plans the optimal path to adapt to material bins of different sizes and shapes, requiring no special ground preparation.

Advantages

Space utilization is increased by over 30%, and the double-deep design improves storage density;

Container retrieval accuracy reaches 99.9%, reducing cargo damage; deployment cycle is short, investment payback period is generally no more than 3 years, and it can be flexibly expanded.

Structure

Flying box structure

Flying box structure

Equipped with a suspended walking mechanism, high-precision sensors, visual recognition components, and an intelligent control system, it adopts a sliding contact line charging method and has a compact overall design, making it suitable for the renovation and upgrading of existing shelves.

Application Industries And Scope

Due to its simple structure, strong versatility, easy assembly, and low implementation cost, warehouse pallet shelves are the most commonly used storage system. They are particularly suitable for the following situations:

Flybox application

Flybox application

Suitable for industries requiring high-frequency storage and retrieval of small containers, such as e-commerce, logistics, electronics, and FMCG, including e-commerce sorting centers, electronic component warehouses, and FMCG distribution warehouses, for rapid sorting and turnover of small container goods.

FAQs

What sizes of containers does the Flybox system support? What is the maximum load capacity?

It supports a wide range of container sizes, with lengths of 200-600mm, widths of 150-400mm, and heights of 100-300mm, making it suitable for most e-commerce small items, electronic components, pharmaceuticals, and other containers. The maximum load capacity is 30kg per container, ideal for quick access to lightweight, small goods. For heavier loads (30-50kg), a reinforced container can be customized.

Is the flying box system noisy during operation? Is it suitable for use in indoor working environments?

With extremely low operating noise (≤55dB), equivalent to the noise level of a typical office environment, it is suitable for indoor work. The flying box adopts a suspended walking mechanism, equipped with a silent drive motor and buffer device, producing no noticeable vibration or noise during operation, and will not affect the work of surrounding staff. It can be deployed near sorting workshops and office areas.

Is the deployment cycle of the flying box system long? Does it require modification of existing racking?

The deployment cycle is short, typically 15-30 days to complete installation and commissioning (including rack modification, equipment installation, and system integration). No large-scale modification of existing racks is required; only the installation of flybox tracks and fixed supports on the sides of the existing racks is needed. It is compatible with most standard bin racks (layer spacing ≥300mm, depth ≥600mm), resulting in low modification costs.

What is the accuracy rate of the container retrieval system? Is it possible for containers to be missed or retrieved incorrectly?

The box retrieval accuracy rate reaches 99.9%, with virtually no missed or incorrect retrievals. The key reason is that the flying box system is equipped with a high-precision vision recognition system and sensors, which can accurately locate the box's position, size, and barcode information. A secondary confirmation is performed before retrieval, and it also works in real-time with the WMS system to verify cargo information, ensuring accurate box retrieval.

What does "dual deep" mean in the Flybox system? How much storage density does it increase?

"Double depth" refers to the ability of the pickup rack to grab boxes at two depths, front and back, without requiring additional aisles. Compared to ordinary single-depth intelligent box-grabbing equipment, storage density is increased by more than 30%, and the number of boxes that can be stored per unit area is 50%-60% more than traditional box racks, making it suitable for space-constrained e-commerce sorting centers and small warehouses.
