Storage shelves are the core storage equipment of modern warehouses and logistics centers, mainly assembled from components such as columns, beams, and shelves. Through a three-dimensional structure, they maximize the use of vertical space, achieve orderly storage, efficient access, and scientific management of goods.
Low cost semi-automatic intensive storage shelves rely on the self weight of goods to automatically slide along the roller slide, achieving first in first out (FIFO), without the need for motors or electronic control, and relying on physical structure to complete semi-automatic replenishment and picking.
Automated shelving is a modern warehousing equipment that integrates intelligent warehouse management systems, automatic handling equipment, and three-dimensional storage structures. It achieves automatic warehousing, storage, retrieval, outbound, and inventory of goods through computer control, greatly improving warehouse space utilization and operational efficiency, reducing manual intervention, and is the core equipment of modern intelligent logistics centers.
Beam shelving is the most popular and widely used shelving solution in the industry, typically stored in pallet units, making it ideal for warehouses storing various SKUs. Their distribution in the warehouse creates a series of internal channels that allow direct and individual access to all pallets. Its columns can reach up to 11m in height, and the crossbeams can be adjusted up and down at intervals of 75mm or 50mm. The frame and crossbeam can be designed according to different specifications of pallets and weights, and the size of the tunnel can be designed according to the forklift used.
